Joining me here from said cardio miracle is Lori Martin. Gregory. Lori, welcome to The Brian Nichols Show. How you doing today? Thank you,

Lori Martin Gregory  0:35

Brian Nichols  0:52
by the way, for folks who are joining us here for the first time on The Brian Nichols Show, thank you for joining us. But if it is your first time, I guarantee you go back through the archives, you're gonna hear a reoccurring theme. Today's episode brought to you by our phenomenal studio sponsors, cardio miracle. And why do I every episode, Lori, every episode I am promoting cardio miracle. And this goes back to March of 23 I had John Hewlett here on the show, and John was telling me about this amazing new supplement that he was promoting, and it has nitric oxide, helps improve the blood flow throughout the body, helps give you a little bit more energy and more pump at the gym, better more restful night at sleep. You know, for me, lowering my blood pressure, lowering my resting heart rate. And I was like, you know, this sounds so good, John, we'll give it a shot, and we'll see what happens. And Lori, no lie, two months I saw the difference for myself. My resting heart weight went from like the low 90s to the high 60s. My blood pressure went from like 140 over 90 to 120 over 80. I started sleeping better. I started lifting heavier weights at the gym. All these amazing benefits from cardio miracle, of which I never thought I would realize myself, Lori, because I, much like most Americans, was told by my doctor, hey, here's these pills you're gonna have to take for the rest of your life. Have fun. And I just said, there's gotta be a better way. And sure enough, Lori, there is a better way, and that is cardio miracle. So I've been promoting, I've been evangelizing cardio miracle now for well over a year and a half, because I love it. I see the value for myself. But for today's episode, I said, You know what? Folks have heard me talk about cardio miracle left and right for the past year and a half. Let's do a revisit into cardio miracle. Why I am so in love with it, and also why so many folks are seeing cardio miracle as such an amazing solution for specifically their heart health. So Lori, before we dig into all things cardio miracle, I know you got a really cool story yourself, not just from a user of cardio miracle standpoint, but also how you kind of found yourself getting involved in this world. So do us a favor. Give us a little peek behind the curtain. Who is Lori Martin Gregory, and why are you such an evangelist yourself for cardio miracle?

Lori Martin Gregory  3:07
Well, thank you, Brian. You know all good things usually come from obstacles, right? Change and growth always is birthed out of some kind of a struggle. And for me, it was my beginning of my career, when I actually worked on Wall Street for biotech and pharma, and I had an opportunity to see kind of how the sausage is made. Once you see how the sausage is made, you don't really want to eat sausage. And working for two very controversial, I would actually say corrupt industries, Wall Street and the pharmaceutical industry, gave me such an exposure to the profit over people model, to the fact that there were, you know, massive machines that were farming people by treating symptoms. And I, you know, I knew there had to be a better way, because I know that we have amazing machines known as our bodies. God has made the most amazing machine. And when you look at what modern life gives us with processed foods, processed drinks, dirty air, dirty water. I mean, vaccines, you know, the list goes on. Putting people on chronic medication is just creating liver congestion. It's weakening digestive action. It's slowing down the body's natural metabolic processes. And when you do that, you're just teeing up a long, slow death. So I started to study natural health and natural medicine. That was about 30 years ago, and it was prompted by my own healing challenge. I had chronic fatigue syndrome for two months at 38 years old, I couldn't get off the sofa at the time I was living in Boston. On Beacon Hill, and I lived right by a walk street. You could walk everywhere in Beacon Hill, and it was Thanksgiving, and I was walking down to the market to pick up my turkey, and it was only five blocks, and I had to take a taxi home. That's how badly my energy was, was misfiring. I had extremely diluted gastric acid, which I had been, you know, I had, I had acid reflux, which is really a symptom of your guts out of balance. When you have acid reflux, if you're waking up with a burning sore throat in the mornings, or you have just, just, you know, disturbance in your digestive system, that's a gift, because it's a warning sign. Pain is a gift. It's telling you something's wrong, something's out of balance. And so when I started to I actually I was completely let down by the Western system, same kind of thing. Here's a pill take. You know, just start taking this medication. And my gastric acid started to get really diluted. So my food was sitting there. It wasn't breaking down. When you dilute the gastric acid in your system, you can't turn the food into nutrients. So my cells weren't getting the energy they needed. The mitochondria weren't converting, you know, any kind of energy source, into energy for my body. I had adrenal burnout, because the body is really smart, right? It'll rob Peter to pay Paul. So if you don't have enough energy, it'll go to where you do have energy, which is your adrenal glands, but that can only last for so long, and then you'll get adrenal burnout, which is where I ended up. So I had to break down everything that was going on in my body had to reboot my digestive system. You know, whenever there's a health problem, it's always the gut. The gut is the key to so much. And once I've got better, and I got better, within 90 days, it really didn't take a tremendous amount of time, but that's when I said, I need to study this. I need to learn more, because if I'm suffering from this now, at such a young age, I know there have to be millions of other people that are suffering from it, and all I had to do was look at the market cap for Prilosec to see that I was right, because they were making millions and millions of dollars on this particular drug. So you know, for 30 years, I have spent my life understanding how to have optimal digestion, which is the root cause of so much, and how to maintain making sure you have a clean liver, making sure you detox from parasites, mold, fungus, yeast, all the microbes that can wreak havoc in your Body, and then finding solutions that will feed the body elegantly, efficiently, effectively, that will taste good, because one of the things I've learned in 30 years is that people won't take any kind of supplement that they have to ingest if it doesn't taste good. I'm sorry they just don't. So having something that that's easy, that tastes good, that you can just, you know, mix right up in your kitchen, two scoops twice a day, cardio miracle checks a lot of boxes and including being a liquid so that your body can easily absorb it and easily digest it. So that's kind of a shorthand version of how I got from there to here, and one of the reasons why I'm a fan of cardio miracle, I

Brian Nichols  8:24
love it now. And let's just take a step back here for again, some of the new folks joining us here on The Brian Nichols Show today, my personal story, right? So I used to be morbidly, morbidly obese. I was 385 pounds. I was unhealthy. I and it wasn't so much that I was eating a lot of garbage. Lori, I was just eating a lot in general. And I ended up, I found myself, you know, at 385 pounds. I I'm six five, so I'm a big guy. I carried it, carried it. Well, whatever that

Lori Martin Gregory  8:51
when you're young, Brian, how old were you when, when you found yourself in this place,

Brian Nichols  8:55
you're ready for this as I was 17. I was 17 years old. I was, Oh, I know. And it was, it was awful, you know, growing up, and that was my life, was being this morbidly obese teen, and I really didn't, I didn't look at food as fuel back in the day, much like any teenager foods, the stuff that tastes good, you know, you want your pizza, you want your chips, you want your soda, you want your subs and all that kind of good stuff, you know, go play my my video game parties with my friends, and just have a great, great night. You know, eat the Skittles. Eat the garbage. I mean, I did eat some garbage right now and then, but it was just mostly a lot, a lot of food. And it wasn't until later in life, especially once I stopped my I stopped drinking alcohol, and I noticed that was a huge, huge impact on my life. We're going on, what, 1200 days now, I think it is somewhere in there for being alcohol free. And I gotta tell you, that was like the moment Lori I was I was really looking at what I was putting into my body and saying, Wow, there is like, it's not even like a difference. It is night and day, the the amount that I felt better. Or relative to when I used to drink. And it wasn't that I would drink a lot. I mean, yeah, like everybody else you would drink. You might drink a lot every now and then, but it was just how my body reacted to alcohol afterwards. And seeing that when I drink this poison, which alcohol is literally a poison, when you drink this poison, my body reacts in a way, it doesn't like it, because it's not good for me. There's nothing of value that I'm getting from alcohol. So I cut this out. I noticed that I'm able to sleep better. All of a sudden, I'm noticing that I have more improved energy. I noticed that I start losing weight, and I'm like, Whoa. Where'd this happen? And mind you, I'd already lost a ton of weight at that point, but starting to lose some of the more visceral fat. And I'm just like, huh, this there's, there's something into this whole idea of what you put into your body in terms of a fuel source really impacting the outcomes that you're able to to bring into every single day, or the actions you can do every single day. So I kind of fast forward and extrapolate that, saying, well, let's, let's see what else I can look at in terms of what I'm putting in my body. And I started really looking at the food, you know, the types of food that I was putting in my body, the nutrients with said food, and then adding supplementation to where I needed to, you know, get a step ahead. And one of the things that's always Laurie was one of the biggest bugaboos for me, was my blood pressure. You know, I had been working out five days a week. At that point, I was eating healthier, I had stopped drinking, and yet my blood pressure was consistently higher. And I was always told Lori, always told by the doctors, oh, well, you have a family history of high blood pressure, so I guess that's life. And I to your

Lori Martin Gregory  11:39
genes, they just can't help it, right? Terrible. Genes are turning on and off all the time, and the things that we do affect which genes are activated and which ones aren't. So this fixed idea that, Oh, that's your family history, so you're doomed. It's

Brian Nichols  11:59
and I bought that. I bought that hook, line and sinker, because who am I? I'm not an expert, right? I have to trust the science. I trust these experts, Lori and then COVID happens, and of course, everything I originally thought about trusting experts and trusting the science all out the window. I was like, huh, wow, you were lying about that stuff. What else you lying about? So I end up, at that point, really digging into, like, all right, it's not just the food, it's not just the alcohol or, like, the bad stuff we put into our body, but also the things we're told that are good stuff, the stuff that's keeping us healthy. And I started to say, well, there's something different. And then, just as a way you know life happens as God, how? You know it makes things work. John Hewlett comes on the show and talks about cardio miracle, and I try it, and I immediately, Lori immediately, within two months, notice the difference. And that is my personal anecdotal story, right? But I saw it firsthand, from when I was this big fat dude back in yester year to where I am today. It's a different world. I feel a million times better. And Lori, really, at the end of the day, the only thing, the only thing that has changed is the type of food that I'm feeling my body with, and that is like, truly, truly extraordinary. Well,

Lori Martin Gregory  13:19
you said it. And really, Brian, this is what we should be teaching kids in school. Food is fuel. Unfortunately, we use it for entertainment. We use it for escapism. We use it to eat our feelings, you know? We use it as a social exchange, you know. Well, my friends want to go for pizza. Well, you don't want to be left out. You want to go with your friends. I mean, I was gluten free in the 90s. Let me tell you, everybody thought I was crazy. And what I what I know, is that once you change, you kind of have to, like, reframe how you look at food. And that's exactly what you did. You reframed how you viewed food, and you realize this is just fuel, you know, and and if I eat food that's going to be more conducive to my body converting it to energy, then I'm going to have the opportunity to maintain and to to have a healthier body, and for the body to repair itself, which the body naturally does. I will often tell some of my health clients, and many of them are too young. So you may not remember it, but the I Love Lucy show, the old I

Brian Nichols  14:29
remember, I Love Lucy,

Lori Martin Gregory  14:32
the black and white, the episode where she and Ethel are working at the Chocolate Factory, yup, and they're doing the chocolates, and it starts going faster and faster, and they're shoving the chocolate like, you know, everywhere they can. That's kind of what your body starts to do when you're eating food that is either so processed that it doesn't know how to break it down. So it's like, Well, I'm just going to store it over here as fat, because there's no enzymes left in it. It's completely processed, so there's no way. Me to break it down. So I'm that's exactly what your body was doing at 17. It was like, I don't know what to do with this, so I'm just going to shove it over here and store it as fat. And that's what your body starts doing. You're like, Lucy and Ethel at the Chocolate Factory. You just start, your body goes into overload. It cannot process all the toxins you're taking in, so it starts shoving it anywhere that it can. And at the end of the day, it's not always about quantity. Now, in your case, you were, you know, when you're not getting nourished from your food, because you're not eating fuel, you will end up wanting to eat more because your body is literally starving. It's not getting fed on a cellular level, so you'll start eating more to try to compensate for the dead food that you're eating, and you're just storing more and more as fat your system starts to get congested. It's not function functioning optimally, and it isn't always the quantity. Sometimes it is the quality, as you just mentioned about alcohol, people will say to me, Well, I only drink a glass of wine a day. Guess what? That's 30 glasses a month. That's it. 365 glasses of wine a year. You can ask any like engineer at MIT, what happens if you take a cup of let's say, you put a full tank of gas in your car and you put one cup of water in your gas tank, guess what happens? You can't start the car, because even though you have a full tank of gas, just that one cup of water will throw the engine into complete malfunction. And that's kind of what happens when we do things like drink alcohol, which is poison, and by the way, it turns to sugar. I mean, we 100% we have a chronic Candida epidemic in America. We have an imbalance of of pH in our system. We have parasitic overload. We have yeast, we have fungus, and the Candida just feeds off of sugar. So complex carbohydrates, alcohol, you know, anything that's going to convert to sugar is just going to double your population of Candida within 12 hours. So it's not always how much it's whatever you do every day affects you the most, and taking something that is literally poison for you, even if it's just a tiny bit, can still really wreak havoc in your body. I'm

Brian Nichols  17:28
just always blown away at how many folks will take and you use the again, we're using the stool example here, right? They'll take the idea of fueling their body with food, right? And using the example you just gave, you're not going to put a glass of water into your gas tank, right? And I know guys who they will go out of their way to make sure they are using only the best of the best fuel for their car, 93

Lori Martin Gregory  17:53
because they're they want optimal performance in that car, right? And

Brian Nichols  17:58
then you get into that car, you get into that car and Lori, what's in, what's in the cup holder, Mountain Dew,

Lori Martin Gregory  18:05
bag of chip from the ground, or Red Bull. It's like, you see, like you're taking better care of your car than your your own body. It's crazy,

Brian Nichols  18:14
and in a economic terminology, right? We call this time preference, right? We only really seem to pay attention to that which we see the outcomes quickly, right? If I swing my fist and I hit somebody in the face, they're gonna get a bloody nose, right? There's not a lot of time preference there, because fist meets face, boom, bloody nose. But when I eat, you know this? This your Twinkie. They still make Twinkie? I know I eat this Twinkie. I might not see the negative outcomes a week two weeks like it might not manifest. And, oh, by the way, it tastes really good too, because it's jam packed full of all this fake gobbledygook chemicals. And, of course, everybody's favorite, the instant Sugar Rush, everybody's favorite sugar? Yeah, everybody loves sugar. So like, right there, I might not realize the negative outcomes for a little bit of time, and all of a sudden, what happens is that you're making these bad, little, tiny choices every single day, multiple times a day. Oh, I'm just gonna have the Twinkie. Oh, I'm just gonna add the cookie. I'm gonna have just one glass of wine with my meal. You take that throughout one day to your point, right? And you just keep on adding this all together over a month. What just, Oh, I'm just gonna have these one little things turn into, that's your diet and, oh, by the way, now you're starting to not sleep as well. Oh, you're starting to get a little chubby, right? Oh, I'm not feeling good anymore. Why? Because you've been filling your body with crap. It's not food, it's or it's not, yeah, it's not food, it's not fuel, it's garbage, it's chemicals, it's all make believe, gobbledygook that we have, we've have, we and here's my question, Lori, is it a matter that. Convinced ourselves that it's okay, or have we just become so numb to the marketing, the branding, and I mean this all kind of correlates to what we're seeing right now, the national conversation. RFK, Bobby Kennedy, he's put in right now as our nominee for HHS Health and Human Services. And the main thing we're talking about is all the chemicals that are in our food. And everybody looks at the Fruit Loops conversation, right? You look at the American Fruit Loops versus the Fruit Loops anywhere else, while those everywhere else, Fruit Loops are colored by blueberries or carrots or, you know, stuff like food, our fruit loops are colored by red dye, 40 and red, three and blue, 72 and like all these random garbage chemicals that we're putting into our food to make it so it's more marketable to make it so it's easier to get in front of very, very impressionable kids, for example, to start them off on a whole, you know, a whole tangent of going to in down the rabbit hole of bad food at a young age, which I'm sure we can dig into a little bit later. But is it a matter that we've just become conditioned or marketed to to death, or a little bit of both. I think

Lori Martin Gregory  21:04
it's probably a little bit of both. There's so much pre planning that goes into marketing these chemicals to us at a young age. Ronald McDonald a Happy Meal. When I was a kid, it was Saturday morning cartoons and every other commercial you know is something that you know is going to entice us to put some garbage into our system. Now it's even worse, right? It's in, it's in, not in app purchases, but it's, it's marketing in video games, right? Oh yeah, and in YouTube videos with influencers for video games. I'm a boy mom, so I understand video games, and I understand Doritos and Mountain Dew, and they, they make it look so enticing in the video game, um, it's, it's really even, you know, the placement on the shelf at the grocery store, they will place a lot of these foods low down. That's right. So the kids, and how many times, you know, would we go to the grocery store with mom and say, Mom, can I have this? Mom, can I have that? Because they're putting it right in the line of sight of children. So they've seen it now in video games. They've seen it on television. You know, they've they've watched their people that they're fans of influencers, ingesting these products, and now they go to the grocery store and it's right there with an eye level. So it's very challenging to fight that that's a machine, that's a corporate machine that's conditioning our kids. And what I did when when my son was younger, is I would try to find copycat recipes. Well, you want the chicken fingers? By the way, chickens don't have fingers, so they should give you a clue, right? No, no, but I would try to, I know, I would say, Oh, you want some chicken fingers? Okay, great. Then I'll buy some organic, non GMO chicken tenders. I'm going to, you know, put it in a free range egg, and then, you know, dribble it into some gluten free bread crumbs, and I'm going to cook it in beef tallow. And at least he's getting a healthy version, you know, of these, these junk foods. It is really extraordinary. And I think people don't realize it's the boiled frog syndrome. They don't realize how bad it is until they're in trouble, or until somebody in their family gets diagnosed with something, or they start to see their loved one with dark circles under their eyes, or, you know, irritability, or, you know, some chronic condition, eczema. I mean, there's so many things, asthma, we have so many chronic conditions. I mean, one in four children in America have a chronic illness. That's insane that. I mean, we're one of the wealthiest nations on the planet. That just shouldn't be happening. So we are hoping that RFK j is going to do some good things, that he is going to get in at HHS, but it is another reason why, as moms especially, give your kids some cardio miracle, you're getting 53 fruits and vegetables and vitamins and minerals in a glass of juice that tastes like berries. It's really easy to sell it to the kids because it tastes good, and I've actually made popsicles out of it and given it to my son as a popsicle, because as long as it tastes decent, you know he's going to eat it. So

Brian Nichols  24:32
let me interrupt, Laurie, I'll take that and I'll raise you one, right? I have a 20 month old, and every morning and thank you. Yeah, and every morning and evening I take my cardio miracle. So I'm out in the kitchen and I'm I'm taking my cardio miracle and one, I don't know how it happened one day, but she was just like, curious what daddy's drinking. So I was like, sure have a sip. And she loved it to the extent Lori. Now, every time I'm in the kitchen getting cardio. Miracle. My daughter comes up to me, grabs my leg and says, miracle, miracle.

Lori Martin Gregory  25:05
She need to record that and send it. I

Brian Nichols  25:07
did at one point, didn't come out. Well, I'm gonna do it again, because she does it every day. Because, you know,

Lori Martin Gregory  25:11
kids have this innate knowing of what's good for them. I mean, when my son was that age, he would eat all the good stuff that I would put on his tray. Wait Oh, you know, well, and they kind of, like they just have this innate knowing of things that are, that are good, their palates are so pure, yeah. And, you know, it's, it is such an incredible thing that for two scoops twice a day, and especially if you are somebody, that is where Brian was. I mean, I really want to speak to those folks that might be listening, that are at a place where they are obese and they're hearing your story, and they're like, Oh, if I could only get there, if I could, if there's one thing that you can do for yourself, get on cardio miracle, because you're going to ignite the nitric oxide pathway. Your goal, which is going to help with your heart function, it's going to help with your help with your blood pressure. It's going to help with cholesterol. It's also going to help release vitamin D that is stored in your fat cells and reactivated as Vitamin D, in addition to the high quality vitamin D that's in our formula, you're going to completely supplement that vitamin D deficiency, which so many people have, especially in the winter months, when we're not outside as much, we're not getting as much sunshine, which is typically the natural source of vitamin D. It's such an important building block, and giving your body a chance to get fed on that cellular level, you will start to find that you naturally have less craving for increased volume of food intake, because your body is going to get fed on a cellular level. When your body is fed on a cellular level. You don't have as many cravings, because your body is getting what it needs. It's that pure source of fuel. So, you know, two scoops twice a day. You can't beat it. It couldn't be any easier. There's tick stick packs that are easy. You can travel with them. There's our our pouch, which is very easy as well. It's a soft pouch, so you can actually put that luggage you can travel for the holidays. But if you haven't tried this, you need to get on it and do it before the holidays, so that you can have smooth sailing during the holidays. Let me tell you. 30 years as a health consultant every year, January is the biggest month of the whole year because everybody over eats, they over drink, they overspend during the holiday, and by January, they are just busted. Everybody gets sick, they're tired, they've been traveling, and that's when they they just are so worn down. Their bodies will just give in. They'll pick up whatever microbe comes along, they don't sleep as well. If you know prevent, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. That's why they say that if you get on cardio miracle. Now, before we're in you know the final countdown here the thick of the holidays, you're going to help your body. It's like wearing a belt and suspenders. Cans aren't going to fall down because you're going to have double protection, and you're going to give yourself that cellular food that you need every day to function optimally. Here, here

Brian Nichols  28:30
now. Lori, I do want to address one thing, and I hear a lot of folks, especially in the I'm just going to generalize the Liberty world, right? The folks out there who look at a solution like cardio miracle. And maybe they're a little skeptical, right? Because they've heard all the good stuff promoted over the years. You know, the snake oil sales folks saying, I have the perfect solution to x, y, z problem. And there is still this. And this isn't a liberty movement thing in particular, it's just, I think, a collective way we've been conditioned as a society, this still does trust the experts, trust the science, right? And you look at a lot of the bad things that we put into our body versus the good things, like cardio miracle, right? And unfortunately, a lot of these bad things, whether it's foods or whether it's it's medicines, they're promoted by the experts, right? And for folks in the liberty movement, of which I would proudly identify myself as, there definitely is kind of like this. Well, what do we do here? Type of conversation? Because we have all the solutions to these very real problems, right? Hey, stop eating all this garbage and start taking cardio miracle. Let's start working on your health today, but that's for folks like you and I who were having this conversation today, and the folks listening who are saying, Oh, maybe I should start to consider doing things differently. Let's look at everybody else out there. Now we have a pretty, pretty nice reach here for The Brian Nichols Show, but let's just say, you know, the 99.99 and nine different percent. Of people out there who aren't listening for whatever reason today, subscribe, guys. Come on. But those folks who haven't heard the message, they have not been evangelized from cardio miracle. We look at these different other products that are not so good, and there seems to be a knee jerk reaction to just say, well, if it's garbage, if it's bad for us, shouldn't we just ban it? Shouldn't we just get rid of this stuff? Right? Shouldn't we just get rid of red dye, 40 or blue, three or whatever hell colors we are, yellow, 27 like if there is no there's no tangible nutritional value, then how is it that we allow this into our foods? That's the first question. The second question that is also well, even if it's not a matter of allowing this into our food, we pay for it. We subsidize a lot of this garbage as well. So help us here. Lori, see a Liberty solution beyond just saying, hey, let's change the way, the way we eat we let's just change the way we put things into our body, which is the right answer, but to those folks who are looking at the very real negative things that are being put into our food, what is the best plan of attack here to actually deal with those problems?

Lori Martin Gregory  31:08
Well, one of the things that really trend was transformative for me was getting back to raw food. And I don't mean just eating salads all the time. I mean taking out things like processed, commercial dairy, processed, commercial wheat. Those are two very congestive food groups, the Dairy Council and the dairy lobby and Big Ag in general. Big agriculture is one of the largest corporate machines in America. Our largest, most subsidized crop in America is soy.

Brian Nichols  31:42
Oh, it's soy. I thought it was me corn, soy, really,

Lori Martin Gregory  31:45
yes, and we subsidize farmers to grow soy. Soy mimics estrogen in the body. That's how you'll see men get man boobs. You'll see women get breast cancer. Soy is a highly processed emulsifier that is put in so many processed foods. Go go to the grocery store and read all of the mayonnaises and read all of the labels on your salad dressings, you will be hard pressed to find any that do not have soy as the first ingredient, which means that is the highest concentration, because they go from highest concentration to lesser concentration in terms of listing their ingredients,

Brian Nichols  32:29
which, by the way, and I mean interrupt, but when we say soy, right, everybody's just thinking like, oh, like, tofu. No, no, soybean oil, right? Like, that's in every go to Buffalo Wild Wings, every sauce at Buffalo Wild Wings, the number one ingredient is soybean oil, correct?

Lori Martin Gregory  32:42
So starting to take those things out of your diet. I mean, I love bread, but I have learned how to make sourdough. And if you can't, if you don't have an interest in making sourdough, you at least try to buy sourdough, because sourdough is fermented, and you're using a culture to make the bread. So it actually has lactobacillus in the bread. It's pre digested for you by the lactobacillus, and it has good bacteria that will help your body digest it. So when I was 17, I started to get chronic gallbladder attacks, and it's a miracle that I didn't have my gallbladder removed, because I have so many ladies that come to me for health consults that don't have their gallbladder anymore. The gallbladder is like a little sack. Oh, you do

Brian Nichols  33:30
fifth grade. I had mine out.

Lori Martin Gregory  33:33
Oh, my gosh, Brian, yeah, no wonder at 17 you were fighting obesity because your your body wasn't making enough bile to break down all these foods, which were highly congestive to begin with, because they were processed. Yep. And you know, the gallbladder is like a little sack of marbles, and it just sits there and wait, has all the bile. When the liver, liver says up incoming, I need to break down some food that's coming in. Give me some bile. It secretes bile into the liver, and as soon as I convert and it gallbladder attacks are nothing more than a congested liver. We just flush out the liver and do that every, you know, couple of months, I do a two day liver flush every couple of months, it keeps my liver functioning optimally. That's all you need to do to fix your gallbladder, because the gallbladder is a symptom of a liver problem. So we in dairy are highly congested. This is one of the reasons you know, RFK, J has been very outspoken about wanting to do raw milk. I switched over to raw milk about 15 years ago. I went completely dairy and wheat free in the 90s, because that was the only way I could control the congestion that my body was feeling from these these foods, because my body couldn't break it down. I have what's called a delicate, darling system. So that wasn't fun, but after 10 years of that, I said, there's gotta be a better way. So I went to. Weston Price I went to Weston prices website. I started reading Sally Fallon's cookbook. I started getting back in touch with some of the more traditional ways that foods foods were prepared, soaking grains, soaking beans, getting the the phthalates out of the some of the foods before you eat them, eating them, moderately combining certain foods. I mean, it's really not rocket science. You just have to take the time to figure it out. So 99% of all the wheat I eat now is sourdough. I make my own sourdough, and then I'll make pizza crust out of it. I'll make pasta. I don't buy commercial pasta anymore. I'll just make my own pasta from the sourdough discard, because once you start making it, you have so much sourdough culture, you can just stick it in the fridge and and it's amazing, because it really I'm a working mom. I'm a working single mom. It's not like I'm sitting home all day cooking, but what what happens is you just fold it into your routine, it becomes easy. You start to build it in. I can make fresh made pasta in 20 minutes, homemade with sourdough, so that and switching over to raw milk, was life changing. It was life changing. And those are two simple body hacks that you can do after you detox. It's really important to clean out your gut, clean out your liver, do a parasite detox. Make sure you don't live in an environment where you have mold, fungus, any kind of toxin in your environment, we have a lot of mold, we have a lot of fungus. And there's studies that are out now Brian that mold will multiply 600,000 times faster when it's stimulated by electromagnetic frequency, which is EMF. So I have an EMF blocker in my house. It doesn't interfere with my internet, it doesn't interfere with my cell phone, but it protects my body so that I'm not getting bombarded with EMF, and better yet, it prevents some of these microbes that feed off of those frequencies from replicating at a high rate in my system. Now, these are body hacks that you learn and you figure out over time. The the primary goal, first and foremost, is making sure your body is getting fed. I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but when you can put a liquid form of vitamins, minerals, nutrients, you know, fruits and vegetables, glutathione, which is such an important protectant for the brain. Do you know that glutathione is like the the century, that keeps guard for the blood brain barrier, and it makes sure that the bad stuff stays out and the good stuff comes in when we're depleted in glutathione, it starts to wreak havoc on our metabolic processes, including our neurological system. So the fact that cardio miracle, about eight months ago, added glutathione into its formula, which I really love how dedicated John Hewlett is to continuously learning more and more and more about what is working well, from an incredible network of natural health practitioners that we work with what we can do to improve. So we've added in glutathione. So you're getting your glutathione. We've added in Lion's Mane, which has tremendous properties. You can go look it up. It's in the scientific literature all over we have NAC, we have an unbelievable profile of nutrients that are going to feed your body, but also things that are going to help reverse some of the damage that's been done and protect your body from getting even worse off. And I can't say enough, when your gut is compromised, and you know this more than anybody, sometimes it doesn't matter how many vitamins you take. And by the way, if you were going to take everything that's in cardio miracle, you'd have to take, like, 75 bottles of stuff, right? It's ridiculous. You'd have to take so much. And if your digestion is compromised, the pill isn't going to break down, it's going to sit there. I mean, you've heard the story about the guy that dumps the porta potties from events, and they see all these undigested pills and vitamins and the Porta Potty because they will go right through you. You are wasting your money. If your body isn't breaking down food, it's not going to break down a pill. And if you can put something that has this much power impacts this much of a health punch in a liquid form, it's easy for your body to uptake it's easier for your body to absorb it, and you're going to get maximum benefit.

Brian Nichols  39:32
Preach. Lori, preach, well, listen, I hate to do this, because I could keep this conversation going all day long, but I always look at the clock. We're already getting towards the the end of the show. Lori, I know that Time goes fast.

Lori Martin Gregory  39:42
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ramble on and on. Lori, I don't know if you

Brian Nichols  39:46
know this or not, but that's why you're here, is to ramble on and on. That's why you're my guest, and candidly. Lori, I'm gonna tell this to you, not the audience. They get tired of listening to me anyway, so it's good to have somebody else in the show, no. But that. Being said. Lori, just one thing I want to take away from today's conversation, right? And this kind of goes to an overarching theme that we've we've instilled here at the show, is nobody's coming to save you, right? You got to be the arbiter of your own success, whether that is you know, you look at your professional life. Oh, I'm not at the job I want. Okay, well, you're doing something wrong. Let's work harder. Oh, you're not selling well, and you're a sales guy. Let's talk like, I can help teach you how to sell. You're not feeling good. It's probably the stuff you're putting in your body, right? You're you're finding you're depressed and that you don't have a great social group, yes, because the people you're surrounding yourself with suck. So like, let's start taking ownership, right? As as individuals, as as communities. Let's start to not just take individual ownership, but also, let's start to help build better solutions and and again, I cannot say enough how thankful I am that cardio miracle exists because I've been using it now for a year and a half. Lori, and you know, I'm just gonna, I'm gonna super, super transparent honesty time, right? Like there was a moment when my daughter was going to be born in the beginning of 2023, and that's funny how timing happens, because John was on the show, I think, a week or two before she was born. But anyways, I was like, I don't want to be a dad with high blood pressure. I don't want to be an unhealthy dad. And to take it a step further, I want to be around for my daughter and and for me down the aisle, Brian, 1000 you're getting tears in my eyes right now, actually, because, like, I would do anything for that little girl, right? And the idea of not being around that was scary. And to think like, well, there's nothing I can do. I've been told I have a family history of high blood pressure, and this is my life. And then to have John on the show bring cardio miracle to the table and and, you know, I I'm a skeptic by nature. One of my little bumper stickers I sell here for the show says, question everything.

Lori Martin Gregory  41:56
Skeptic. That's a good thing, right? And I

Brian Nichols  41:59
questioned everything. I was like, John, This just sounds too good to be true. Like, I don't know John. I try this for myself. Before I start promoting this on my show, I really got to figure out this actually works. And I tried it for two months. Lori and I, the audience that listens to the show. They hear this ad every every show. It took two months, two freaking months. And my blood pressure, that's 60

Lori Martin Gregory  42:22
days out of your life to literally claim your life. It's and I feel

Brian Nichols  42:26
the best I have felt ever, like the and one thing too, by the way, like it's something I never expected of a better heart health, but like, my mental acuity is the best it has been ever, like I I've always had the gift of gab for better, for worse, but sometimes I would be in the gift of gab and I'm just like, you know, you're on the you're on the sentence train, and you're just like, I don't know where this is gonna end. And just keeps going and going and going. I found that my thoughts got clearer. I started to see that like A plus B started to equal c more clearly in my head. And it just think, things became easier. It's just, it's like, it's amazing when you start to put the right stuff in your body, the right fuel in your body, how much of a dramatic improvement that can make from just so many different areas in life.

Lori Martin Gregory  43:18
Informative. It really is you never

Brian Nichols  43:21
have an idea, Lori. I'm not gonna Okay, I hate to do this to you, Lori, but you told me this before her. And I don't know if you should have or not. Folks who are joining us on the video version of the show, look at Lori. You get to guess how old Lori is. You probably gonna say what? Maybe early 40s. Lori, 62 years old. Guys, Lori looks like she's in her early 40s. And you know what it goes to because when you put good stuff in your body, your body's going to reflect what you are putting into it. And it just comes down to putting the right stuff in your body. So whether it comes to the right foods, the right beverages, whatever it may be, the right people, the right environments, please make sure you're putting your own personal health, your family's health, first and foremost. And of course, if you have not had the chance yet, head to Brian Nichols show.com or just stick around. We're going to have the link pop up here for cardio miracle. Get your cardio miracle today. Order it for yourself. Get it as a gift for a loved one. Use code TBN s you're going to get 15% off your order, and you will get my seal of approval. That's my final thoughts for today. Lori, what do you have for us as you bring us home? I'm

Lori Martin Gregory  44:25
just so excited when I hear stories like yours, Brian, because you're living your priorities. And that little girl is everything, and she needs her daddy around. So the fact that you're investing in your health, and that's really what it is. It's taking responsibility. It's being accountable to yourself and saying, I can fix this, I can do something. And in 30 years, I've never found a product that checks as many boxes as this. And I'm a skeptic too, so I relate to that, and we should be skeptical, but this is really an investment in your future. And. You know, just getting a good night's sleep, which a lot of people will report first first, you know, off the bat, in the first 60 days, just that will improve your your well being, because your body, you know, rejuvenates when you're asleep. If you're not sleeping, you're not rejuvenating, yep. So it's, it is, it is a miracle, and I'm so happy to be here with you, and thank you for having me and Merry Christmas. Merry

Brian Nichols  45:23
